Internal New Business Sales Consultant

Albany Software Ltd, based in Alton, is an established and highly successful computer software company specialising in the provision of eTransaction Solutions.

We are currently seeking an Internal Sales Consultant to generate new opportunities, make outbound calls on the back of marketing campaigns, actively promote Albany solutions through detailed business discussions, make appointments for our field sales teams and close business by telephone. The main focus of this role is the proactive generation of leads and ultimately sales of Albany products to our prospects. The accurate management of our prospect database is also important, as is the ability to make full use of the sales reporting systems.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales skills with at least 1 year’s experience but individuals who display the requisite drive and determination of a sales person will be considered with less experience. Excellent telephone skills and a positive and helpful attitude are a must. The candidate must have a good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally some experience of CRM.
