Marketing Manager

Albany Software Ltd, based in Alton, is an established and highly successful computer software company specialising in the provision of eTransaction Solutions.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to manage our Marketing team and work as part of the management team at Albany.

The Marketing team is expected to support our sales initiatives through lead generation, raising brand awareness and provision of a comprehensive sales toolkit. They will need to embrace all aspects of the Marketing Mix to oversee and deliver:

• a comprehensive and commercial website
• events throughout the year including seminars, conferences and exhibitions
• lead generation campaigns both electronic and postal
• a well executed PR programme (in conjunction with our PR agency)
• high quality collateral
• high quality presentation material
• product marketing plans for all products and market sectors

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Marketing department and ensuring department plans, objectives and KPIs are met. Accurate and timely reporting for the directors is an important part of this role and it is the Marketing Manager's responsibility to ensure the reports are issued as required.

The Marketing Manager will also be involved in the setting and implementation of annual plans for the Marketing department and will assist the Sales and Marketing Director with strategic planning at a company level.

This challenging role requires an experienced individual able to demonstrate their suitability for this role, in particular:

• the managing, mentoring and personal development of a team
• relevant Marketing qualifications and / or experience
• excellent software skills, most specifically Microsoft Office and a CRM application
• good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organisation

The ideal candidate will have a CIM qualification in Marketing (or equivalent) and experience with both product marketing and marcomms.
