3. Sicon takes control of its DD's

Sicon Ltd, an IT consultancy specialising in hardware and software solutions for business and local government, has purchased Albany ePAY to introduce Direct Debit capability to their cash collection processes. With around 400 customers, Albany ePAY will process 50 DD monthly collections for Sicon. Read more »
 

4. Little support for SEPA

SEPA has lost the support of UK payments processor VocaLink. As an early supporter, VocaLink enlisted several major global banks with a view to enhance their European presence. However, the much-delayed migration deadlines for SEPA DD and Credit transfers by the European Parliament came far too late to persuade VocaLink to re-think the “phased withdrawal of its Euro CSM and SEPA value-added services.” Read more »
