Albany’s Bureau Contingency Service receives high level
acclaim from Bacs
Albany Software’s Bureau Contingency Service has recently undergone
a Bacs inspection, a standard process for all commercial bureaux.
Covering five key areas, the bureau inspection rates various
aspects of the service, including the organisation, security,
operations, applications and processing. Scoring ‘excellent’
in three of the five areas and ‘good’ in the remaining two,
the service received high level approval from the Bacs inspectors.
Dawn Vear, Support Manager at Albany Software, comments, “The
Bureau Contingency Service is designed as a ‘back-up’ for our
existing ALBACS customers, allowing them to make Bacs submissions
via our in-house support services team, in case of system failure
within their internal disaster recovery solution. As registration
is free and the service quick and easy to use, our customers
are increasingly coming to realise the necessity of having this
fail-safe support to ensure continuity of their vital business
processes.”
Vear continues, “We are delighted with the outcome of the inspection
and with the level of praise our Bureau Contingency Service
received from Bacs. The comprehensive inspection is designed
to ensure service excellence and scoring so highly is a testament
to the service we offer our customers.”
