Our most successful Faster Payments and SEPA seminar yet

Our third Faster Payments and SEPA seminar on Wednesday 10th October at Edinburgh Zoo was a great success. With 100% of delegates rating the event either excellent or very good.

The seminar was held at Mansion House which was spectacular, nestled on the top of the zoo; the views stretched out across Edinburgh, and created an excellent mood for the seminar.

Faster Payments and SEPA experts Paul Smale, Rob Jackson and Bob Larkham represented Albany sharing their wealth of understanding and knowledge on the subject. Paul Smale outlined the key objectives and features of the Faster Payments initiative, whilst Richard Ransom from VocaLink explained the technical requirements, and how Faster Payments will work along side the current VocaLink payment scheme.

Bob Larkham, an industry-known expert on SEPA (Single European Payments Area) outlined how companies should prepare for the SEPA initative, especially in terms of account validation and the new legislation regarding the validation of BIC and IBAN data. Richard Ransom from VocaLink continued to discuss the technical requirements of SEPA, the ease of implementation, the expected associated costs and the key release dates.

The feedback from all of the attending delegates was extremely positive, with100% of the delegates rating the day as either excellent or very good, and 100% of delegates rating the presentation as very good or above.
