European Software Association membership boosts Albany Software's business development and progression through EU visibility and networking
The UK's leading e-transactions software provider and Bacs authority, Albany Software, has announced
it's affiliation to the European Software Association (ESA). The membership is the next step in Albany's
business growth and development allowing visibility amongst other leading software vendors within the
European market.
Created in October 2005, The European Software Association is an industry body representing some of
the best known companies in Europe whose business is to develop and market software. As the voice of the
European Independent Software Vendor (ISV) community, the ESA's main aim is to work with EU policy makers
and other European stakeholders to foster an environment that supports innovation and competitiveness within
the European software industry. It also allows other European business sectors to increase their efficiency
nd growth. The European Software Association also exists to provide a forum for development of common policies
and best practice across Europe, and for networking between CEOs that will lead to better cooperation and
partnerships between businesses.
Adrian Stafford-Jones, Managing Director, Albany Software, comments, "Being members of the ESA provides
us with another window into Europe. The ability to network with other software vendors within the European
market brings us all the opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another and potentially engage in
fruitful partnerships moving forward."
