intelligent payment solutions Intelligent Payment Solutions, a supplier of BacsTEL-IP and e-transactions software solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with leading e-transactions software author Albany Software. Under the terms of the new agreement, iPayment Solutions will be offering its 350-strong customer base a range of Albany's products including ALBACSenterprise and ALBACScs, in order to help companies to further improve their funds transfer processes.

Tony Russell, Managing Director of iPayment Solutions, says, "The end of 2005 Bacs compliance deadline put a large number of organisations - who wanted to continue processing payments electronically - under a great deal of pressure. One year on, these organisations are now able to concentrate on fine-tuning the Bacs solutions which they implemented last year, in order to fully maximise the benefits of the BacsTEL-IP platform."

For those corporations with less complex and lower funds transaction requirements, ALBACScs offers iPayment Solutions' customers the ability to allocate task responsibility to different individuals across numerous departments with in-built workflows to inform each user of the steps they are required to perform. ALBACScs drives processes throughout an organisation, ensuring complete control and providing enhanced visibility of cash flow and comprehensive management reporting.

iPayment Solutions has also added Albany's eCONNECT software to its portfolio. Aimed at improving business processes and reducing costs through electronic document delivery and retrieval, eCONNECT is a critical software solution for organisations which are still using paper and print for outbound document delivery - from remittance advice to invoices - incurring significant business costs as a result.
