ALBACScs
ALBACScs is the next step up from Albany’s small business offerings and provides multi-site organisations with a solution to manage complex payment demands simply.
The software is web-based, meaning it can be accessed securely from any location across a WAN (wide area network). With several in-built workflows, it is specifically designed to meet the needs of companies with relatively high volume funds transaction requirements.
The nature of the software means it can consolidate many different departments’ Bacs payment needs and acts as a payment gateway, centralising the management of all funds transfers.
Just as the software itself is far more heavy-duty than its small business counterparts, so too are its security and administration features. Audit trails, reporting and user restrictions are all key components of ALBACScs and have been enhanced accordingly in order to keep a tight rein on what is an extremely powerful and versatile tool.
For a further degree of automation, Hardware Security Modules (HSM) can be used in conjunction with ALBACScs in order to create a ‘lights-out’ payments system that requires very little manual intervention.
