how does ALBACSenterprise work?
ALBACSenterprise works by initially
acquiring the relevant data extracted from your chosen accounts
package and then performing a series of validation checks to
ensure data accuracy. ALBACSenterprise can be
configured to deliver notifications to key individuals, reporting
on progress at each stage of processing and informing users
of next actions required.
The authorisation of payment or collection files is then performed,
followed by the signing stage, completed using digital certificates
via Smart
Card readers or Hardware
Security Modules (HSMs), offering extremely secure data
authentication. ALBACSenterprise then submits
the file directly to Bacs
via the Bacstel-IP
delivery channel, which then simultaneously credits and debts
funds between bank accounts by 9.30am on day 3 of the cycle.

ALBACSenterprise then automatically downloads
any Bacs
notifications (including acknowledgements, receipts and
any error reports) from the Bacs website and then delivers these
to the specified individuals in either a readable format or
as a raw data file.
Through the use of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and the
built-in scheduler this entire submission process can be automated,
completing funds transfers without the need for any manual intervention.
ALBACSenterprise and the HSMs we recommend maintain
extremely secure transmission and together greatly exceed the
Bacs requirements for security protection of unattended submissions.
