ALBANYverify is a powerful validation tool, designed to crosscheck bank account and sort code details against the Extended Industry Sorting Code Directory (EISCD) to ensure their validity. The EISCD contains information pertaining to all bank offices that participate in one or more of the UK's clearing services - Bacs, CHAPS Sterling, Cheque & Credit Clearing (C&CC) and Faster Payments Service (FPS)

Several versions of the software exist to satisfy varying business requirements:

• Single workstation - quick and simple batch verification at the touch of a button.
• Sever installation - allows any number of computers to access the centrally hosted database to perform validation checks.
• Standard API - provides the ability to embed the verification functionality into the customer's own software - an accounting, CRM system or otherwise.
• ActiveX API - as with the standard API but enables better interaction with ActiveX technologies.
• Socket Server - sits on a server and accepts validation calls from computers running different Operating Systems.
