In order to ensure the successful validation of sort codes and account numbers - a requirement for Bacs transmissions it is essential that you update your software with the most up to date data released by Bacs.

This month this takes the form of a complete database replacement. For your ease this can be downloaded using the following information.

Failure to carry out this update will cause validation difficulties, an important aspect of your successful Bacs transmission.

How to install this vital update:

• Make a backup of the existing ALBACSip directory
• Having downloaded and extracted the files copy them into the existing ALBACSip directory
• Delete Verify.idx and Verify.dbf
